A generic request usually just gets you a corrected payslip — the calculation trail and internal discussion showing how the error happened, and for how long, are rarely volunteered unless specifically asked for. Getting them requires the request to name these categories directly, and to be identity-verified so the employer can't legitimately pause the clock on ID grounds alone.
